- Be a registered user of MyAnimeList.net
- Make a purchase on Otsukai between 9 March and 9 April 2020.
- Register your MAL username on Otsukai between 9 March and 9 May 2020.
- Make a purchase during the stated time period and register your MAL name to Otsukai - that’s it! The cashback will automatically be applied to your PayPal account.
- Your item must have arrived by 9 May 2020, so please keep that in mind when choosing shipping methods.
- You can register your MAL username either on your ‘My page’ or your ‘Errand page’.
- MAL username registration is unavailable on the Otsukai smartphone app. Purchases made via the app ARE valid for the campaign, however you must log in to otsukai.com on a browser in order to add your MAL username. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
- Log in to Otsukai and select your user icon in the top-right corner and go to ‘My Page’.
- You should see a box on the page with the MyAnimeList logo. Enter your MAL username here and select ‘Register’ to complete.
- Once you have made a purchase on Otsukai, an Errand page will be created so that you can follow the status of your order. On the Errand Page you will find a box with the MyAnimeList logo. Enter your MAL username here and select ‘Register’ to complete your entry.
※You can edit the MAL username you have registered at any time during the campaign. Just go to either registration box and select the pencil icon to edit your username, selecting ’Update’ when you’re done. If you edit your username on MAL during the campaign period, don’t forget to also update it on Otsukai.
- ※ Only registered users of MyAnimeList residing outside of Japan are eligible for this cashback campaign.
- ※ Eligible users are entitled to cashback on one (1) order completed during the specified time period.
- ※ If multiple orders are completed during the time period, the cashback will automatically be applied to the most expensive order completed. Users may not choose which of their orders receives cashback.
- ※ The cashback amount is limited to $100 per user.
- ※ For an order to be eligible, payment must have been made between 9am (JST) on 9th March 2020 and 9am (JST) on 9th April 2020. The order must be marked as complete (i.e. the buyer must have received the order and marked it as ‘arrived’ on Otsukai) by 9am (JST) on 9th May 2020.
- ※ Cashback will be processed one month after the campaign period ends. The funds will automatically be sent to the PayPal account the purchase is made on.
- ※ Otsukai reserves the right to change the terms of the campaign or postpone refunds if users are found to be attempting to apply for the same campaign with multiple accounts or otherwise abusing the Otsukai terms of service.
